Gauerke Electric Company is well prepared to meet the challenges of large-scale and small-scale electrical contracting. We are the third generation in our family providing electrical contracting and special systems services.

In the nineteen thirties, our grandfather, Melvin Gauerke, began the tradition in central Wisconsin. Current owner, Gene, learned and worked in the trade with his father, along with years of additional education in the field. After working as an electrician in the Chicago area Gene started his own electrical business in Rockford, IL 1961. Brian comes as the third generation, after earning his degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Through three generations we have learned that successful projects don’t just happen. Communication and coordination with the end user and construction team members are vital for a successful project.
